But once upon a time, only what was grown locally, was eaten locally.

Chris and Michelle McColl run Kalangadoo Organic Orchards in the south-east of South Australia and are two of the leaders in the localised, alternative food scene in the region.

They help run the famers’ market in town and are valiant believers in breaking down large supply chains, which they believe lack transparency and force the loss in quality in produce.
