Brick Street Farms is an indoor hydroponic farm that grows leafy greens and herbs year round in the Sunshine State.
Shannon O’Malley and her husband were able to convert three shipping containers into environmental friendly vertical gardens that grow one to two acres of fresh produce at an old junkyard.
Each shipping container is equipped with climate control systems to alter the temperature, sunlight and and water filtration.
O’Malley said they are working to provide fresh, locally grown, organic leafy greens and herbs to various restaurants and hotels around St. Petersburg.
